Breath is the Key.
Chronic health conditions or life challenges can create stress in our bodies. Our breath becomes shallow, our muscles harden and movement is uncomfortable. With Chair Yoga we learn how to breathe deeply and move with comfort and ease. We learn to be aware of the way we move, how it feels and to breathe as we move.
Kathryn McGoldrick has taught yoga for more than 14 years and specialises in teaching older adults. “I have developed Chair Yoga so that yoga can be done at any age. My students tell me that they feel the benefits – more energy, ease of movement and able to enjoy their active lives.”
